Ryan is a highly regarded executive with more than 20 years of experience across energy, retail, manufacturing, logistics, transport and business services. He joins SunCable from Origin Energy where he has spent the last 16 years working in senior roles, most recently as General Manager of Future Fuels and Carbon.

Ryan will work closely with SunCable’s senior leadership team and Board to advance key priorities for the Group, including:
• Progressing engagement across Australian, Singaporean and Indonesian Governments and other stakeholders;
• Finalising subsea cable mapping;
• Progressing SunCable’s HVDC cable procurement strategy;
• Continuing negotiations and finalising Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs).
Over two stages of development, SunCable’s AAPowerLink project aims to deliver up to 6GW of 24/7 green electricity, of which:
• Approximately 4GW will stay in Australia to power green industrial customers in Darwin
• 1.75GW will go to customers in Singapore via a 4,300km subsea cable through Indonesian waters.
The AAPowerLink is the world's largest renewable energy and transmission project in development and is projected to be one of the largest economic industrial developments in Australian history
